Hosted by ASAAP, Organized by Jennifer Kim
Friday, April 4, 7-10 pm
Bobioca, 2405 Nueces St (477-4300)

This game has a limit of 6 players, so to claim your spot, RSVP Jennifer at jlkim@alumni.princeton.edu. If this works out, hopefully we will have regular Cashflow Game Nights so there will be plenty of opportunities for more people to play. Cashflow 101 is somewhat similar to Monopoly but with real estate and stocks. The purpose of the game is to teach players financial literacy and how to increase their passive income versus earned income. For more info on the game, visit www.richdad.com. Distinctive for startling originality, Shen Wei's choreography has been hailed as "something to write home about" by The New York Times. The company will perform Rite of Spring (Part 1), set to the four-hand piano version of the famous score, as well as Folding, a 40-minute work that links original music of Tibetan Mahakala Buddhism with the soft melodies of John Taverner's Last Sleep of the Virgin. "The visual and emotional impact is overwhelming...This "Rite of Spring" dazzles." -- The New York Times.

Saheli and SafePlace Walk
Saturday, April 12, 10am-2pm, Waterloo Park
Walk time is from 12pm-12:30

Saheli works within the Asian & Asian-American communities to assist victims and survivors of domestic violence. Saheli works with Safeplace, which runs a women's shelter and provides financial and social service assistance in Austin. Through the annual Safeplace Walk Saheli raises funds is by asking walk teams to get their friends, family, colleagues, businesses, etc. to be financial sponsors of their walk.

Everything is in charitable terms, and with all the money that our teams raise, SafePlace gives Saheli a percentage for services in the Asian American community. This is a wonderful cause, with direct benefits to the Asian American community. To participate in the SafePlace Walk, contact Jennifer Na, Americorp Vista Volunteer with Saheli/Safeplace, at JNa@austin-safeplace.org for more info.
