Hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I know ASAAP has been quiet for the last month and half, and it's because it's summer, and we know how busy everyone is :) But don't fret....we have a lot in store beginning in August (check out our new web site www.asaap.net)!

For starters, we have coming right around the corner Junior Achievement's Bowl-A-Thon. Remember, ASAAP is not only into social activities but philanthropic activities as well. This fundraiser is a chance for us to have fun and raise money for a great cause! The rules are simple...we need to form a team of 5 bowlers to represent ASAAP, and each member of the team will be responsible for raising a minimum of a $100 (ie, $500 for the entire team). You don't have to be a good bowler to participate...you just have to know how to have fun! If you are interested in forming a team, please contact me (cindy@cindylo.com), and I will get you all the details and even coordinate until we get an ASAAP team captain. My team (Red Velvet Events) will be bowling on Tuesday, August 19th, but there are 3 other days available if that evening doesn't work for you. Dates for Bowling: Aug 19, 20, 22, or 23 all 6-8pm at Showplace Lanes

Who Else is Bowling: Companies such as Dell, Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, Smith Barney, KPMG, 3M, Applied Materials, and much more!

What's in it for You: knowing that you helped raise money so over 3.8 million K-12 students in the US can participate in JA programs each year!

What you get for Participating: a really cool t-shirt, a chance to wear funky bowling shoes, a time to bond with fellow ASAAP members, a chance to win some really nice door prizes, and a whole packet to give you tips on how to raise the minimum of a $100

Please drop me an e-mail (cindy@cindylo.com) if you are interested in participating. Deadline to register teams is Aug 15th, but requesting dates for bowling are on a first come, first serve basis, so don't wait too long!
